What is the Neko Health scan?

A 60-minute comprehensive, multi-specialty, non-invasive and radiation-free assessment that captures millions of health data points in minutes.

This includes:

An external assessment using 2D cameras, thermal cameras, and depth sensors

Internal measurements covering blood pressure, body composition, ECG, advanced cardiac and arterial assessments and a blood draw processed on-site in under 10 minutes;

Additional biometric markers including grip strength and intraocular pressure.

Results are delivered on-site, followed by a face-to-face consultation with a clinician — all in under an hour.

Is it the same as an MRI?

No, and that's a deliberate choice. MRI is a powerful tool, but it's most valuable when directed at a specific clinical concern rather than being used in a preventive setting. An MRI for just a single organ can take as long as an hour. The Neko Health Scan is designed to look at major health systems in the same amount of time.

How are results ready so quickly?

We spent seven years developing much of the technology that powers the scan, then four years refining the experience, so everything runs seamlessly. Your results are processed on site in real time, ready to review with your clinician before you leave

What should I bring to my appointment?

Just bring a valid photo ID. We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. You'll receive an email with full instructions a few days before your appointment.

Can I use insurance?

At this time, you can’t use insurance for your Neko Health Scan. However, you can use your HSA/FSA benefits.

Do I need a referral?

No referral and no preparation. Your invitation covers everything.

What happens if the scan reveals something that needs further investigation or treatment?

Accepted Answer

Your clinician walks you through your results during your consultation. If they warrant a closer look, our in-house cardiologists and dermatologists review them free of charge, normally within 2–3 days.

If they recommend additional diagnostics or care, then Neko is able to provide echocardiograms, follow-up skin checks, and additional diagnostics free of charge.

We refer you to an outside specialist only when you genuinely need one (for example, for a skin biopsy or diabetes treatment).

When we do, it's to a vetted network of cardiologists, dermatologists, and primary care physicians who can see you quickly – or to your own clinician, if you'd prefer.
