Neko Health Is Opening in New York City – With 25,000 People Already Waiting
The first U.S. clinic opens September 24 in SoHo - with more NYC locations and Miami to come later this year, and Washington D.C. and San Francisco to follow.

More than 25,000 New Yorkers have already joined the waitlist for Neko Health - the health technology company that’s reinventing preventive healthcare. Now, they won’t have to wait much longer.
Founded by Daniel Ek (Spotify) and Hjalmar Nilsonne, Neko Health today announced it will open its first U.S. clinic in SoHo at 300 Lafayette Street on September 24, offering its signature Neko Health Scan for $499 - giving people a new way to truly understand and act on their health before something feels wrong. To learn more about Neko Health and to join the waitlist, visit NekoHealth.com.
The Neko Health Scan takes around 60 minutes and combines millions of data points across the body, including the heart, blood, skin, and metabolic health. The experience is non-invasive and radiation-free, with results available during your visit. Members then sit down with a clinician to understand what their results mean and provide actionable insights.
“We’ve spent the last few years asking a simple question: What if a single visit could give you a more complete picture of your health, where it’s heading, and a clear plan from a medical professional to change what happens next?” said Neko Health Co-Founder and CEO Hjalmar Nilsonne. “New York felt like the right place to bring that idea to the U.S. It’s a city where people are used to having access to the best of everything - and we think healthcare should be no different.”
New York is just the beginning of Neko’s U.S. expansion. Neko plans to open additional locations in NYC, followed by sequential openings in Miami, Washington D.C., and San Francisco over the next year.
300 Lafayette Street is an ambitious two-floor buildout right at the heart of Houston Street and Lafayette Street in SoHo. It will be unlike any healthcare space New Yorkers have seen. One of Neko's largest clinics yet, it features seven scan rooms built in Neko’s signature aesthetic: spaces as thoughtfully designed as the technology inside them. From the moment you walk in, every touch point signals a completely different approach to healthcare.
More than 350,000 people have joined the waitlist or registered for a Neko Health Scan globally, and more than 100,000 in the UK and Sweden have already experienced one. At the end of their first appointment, 75% of members book and prepay for their next scan.
The U.S. debut comes on the heels of a $700 million Series C led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and co-led by O.G. Venture Partners, with participation from Claudia Schiffer and Sir Matthew Vaughn, Danny Meyer, Maria Sharapova, Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan, Thierry Henry, Tim Ferriss, and will.i.am.
